They're only refurbished in that, they were sold to a customer, the customer took the laptop out of it's box, didn't like it and wanted to return it or found a minor fault and returned it to the shop. The laptop was checked, repaired, repackaged and now being sold as a refurbished laptop. I have purchased two refurbished HP's from PC World and both have been great. On the Dixons web site, click on Computing > Refurbished Computing > Refurbished Laptops http://www.dixons.co.uk Prices start from around £199.00 but some models are sold out. Alternatively I used Google Shopping (Froogle) to find refurb laptops.
