refurbished means they were returned and factory repaired. I wouldn’t recommend an apple computer to anyone due to the fact that they charge way too much for their hardware. did you know you can install mac os x on a pc?(illegally)
it runs faster actually, because pc hardware costs somewhere around 1000 dollars less. If i were you i would hold out till october 22 and get a new computer then when windows 7 is released.

It looks like a pretty good laptop for the price, there are a lot of these new sub 400′s starting to come out that will really help jump the computer market. Incase makes a good one. They say it is for a MAC, but normal 17in laptops should fit. Just be sure to check the dimensions. They have a few different colors to choose from…

I bought one 5 years ago, and it is still in great shape.

It can be compared to a mediocre desktop .but u can do all the normal day to day stuff with it and maybe play modern games on medium settings .the speed of the processor is 2.5 ghz ..

Lenova used to be IBM (the original PC), and they supply mostly to teachers etc. through programs. They aren’t exactly an end user oriented company as they deploy entire fleets of computers and laptops.

The laptops are good and solid, but made for a specific purpose mostly… when it was IBM they used so many proprietary designs that customers HAD to buy their memory, etc because it was the only architecture that would fit.
